Thematic groups meetings

The Italian Presidency of the DWG established three thematic groups on its working priorities and one Accountability Steering Committee on the 2021 Rome Update in order:

• to enhance the involvement of the G20 DWG and the G20 engagement groups (EGs);
• to facilitate the preparation of the three DWG deliverables on Financing for Sustainable Development, territorial development and SDGs localization and the 2021 Rome Update - to be submitted to the G20 Leaders’ Summit (30-31 October 2021);
• to facilitate the elaboration of the DWG inputs to the Joint Meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Development Ministers’ (“Matera Declaration”) and the Development Ministers’ (“Development Communique’”) meetings, held in Matera (29 June 2021).
